Now, we've had the coveted New Balance 550 "UNC", but get ready for a brand-new iteration that has similar tones, yet takes the 550 to a higher level once again. Introducing, the New Balance 550 "Grey Blue".

Taking suede panelling over the toe cap and heel like some of the earlier iterations of the 550 silhouette, this "Grey Blue" edition mixes easy-to-style hues with differing shades of blue. On the outsole, both titular tones are combined, whilst the New Balance branding on the midsole comes subtly in crisp-white, blending into its background. The '550' at the bottom of the lace unit follows suit, whilst the large 'N' logo that was introduced to New Balance trainers back in the '70s stands pride of place in the same sky-blue colour.

As a reminder of its roots, the usual basketball branding at the top of the tongue looks pretty in blue like the rest of the sneaker.
