REI recently teamed up with Outdoor Afro, a national nonprofit centered around Black leadership, to launch a collection "celebrating Black joy in nature." Outdoor Afro CEO Rue Mapp explained that while the collection "is designed for the Black community, it also solves universal needs. We’re creating a better outdoor product for everyone.” Mapp explains, “Black people have always spent time outside across a variety of activities, but the community has always felt a gap in finding gear that fits, functions well, feels good, and represents their personal style.” The new collection features 22 pieces, with everything from shell jackets equipped with "hair-conscious" hood linings to durable backpacks and hiking shoes. Fans can shop the full collection today at the link shown here.

Today we’re taking a look at a new 3D-knitted hoodie, juicer and climbing collection. This is Today in Gear.

So if you’ve been looking for a one-stop, powerhouse product to change your quality of life – look no further than CELLF.
