The store will also offer custom orders made by Underground Printing, a screen printing company who partners with Detroit City FC and will share the space.
Founded in 2012, Detroit City FC has risen up the soccer ranks since, winning a NISA Championship in 2021, joining the USL Championship this year and starting a women's team this season.
The men's team is 9-7-4 in 2022. In April, it earned its first win over a Major League Soccer team, a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Crew in the U.S. Open Cup. It next plays New Mexico United at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Keyworth Stadium. The game will stream on ESPN+.
The women's DCFC team finished its inaugural season earlier this month with a 3-6-3 record.
The grand opening for the shop, at 1216 Griswold St., is Thursday.
